I'm a full licence holder with
my own car and a secret passion for motorbikes that I've recently indulged
with a Yamaha TDM900. I'm an avid reader/writer in my spare moments.

I've also been mother to five,
although now there are just my two beautiful daughters left living at home.
Lina aged 8 who is of course at school, and Kirsty aged 19 who works and
plays hard; daytimes as a teaching assistant primarily for special needs
children and evenings as a bar manager. She's currently saving to go to
Australia to stay with my baby brother for three months! The other two
(20 and 23; step-daughters) have made me a happy young grandmother once
each already. Last but by no means least my 16 year old son Anthony is
gleefully making his way through electric guitar exams and drama schools;
he's done a few days filming for familiar TV programmes already, well on
his way to his ambition to be famous. Makes me feel very old at the not-so-old
age of 38!

I worked out that the traditional
one-on-one lifetime partner routine wasn't working for me several years
ago now, so my daughters and I live in our own home (proudly bought by
ourselves together in April 2004) with beloveds Rachel (42) originally
a Geordie lass and Luisa (40) a bronx gal from New York, two dogs, a cat,
two snakes and a gigantic aquarium. Life has duly transformed itself since
1999 into a real home filled with wonderful fun for us all!

Other and past interests: our network
of 6 home PCs, swimming, Tae-Kwon-Do (a martial art), parachuting, colour
analysis, homeopathy, psychology. Currently studying Fencing (genuine Rapier
swordfighting, rather than sports fencing), Hypnosis, NLP, Counselling,
Spanish, Tai Chi, Guitar, and T-line shorthand in my so called 'spare time'!

I also run a spiritual website

whilst wearing my 'other hat', reading Tarot and Runes, interpreting Dreams
and performing Handfasting ceremonies (pagan weddings) as a Priestess.
We hold regular circles and Sabbat gatherings for all our family and friends
(and they are thankfully many!) at our home, with a fabulous (built by
us) stone circle (complete with firepit and four element 'features') in
our own back garden.

Oh and I'm dieting (yes I know,
boring!), however, I discovered a basic formula of dieting which many friends
have emulated and are succeeding at. Thus http://www.katsdiet.co.uk
was born. We've a support group 'journal' too on Livejournal named
katsdiet, for anyone on a diet of any kind!
Life is good and it's meant
for living, or as a Director I once worked for put it, "when it stops being
fun, I'll stop doing it!"
